Our beautiful sire, El Lobo, is a very rare dual-registered slate (carries dilute gene) long-hair border collie from the historic Arthur Allen line of Disney dogs, imported into the USA in the 1950s.

These dogs were selected by Arthur Allen for their high intelligence, size, demeanor and excellent personality traits! Many of them appeared in the Disney classics from the 50s and 60s - there is lots of information online regarding these famous dogs!

The seminal 1950s classic "Arizona Sheepdog" may be the most famous movie his ancestors starred in, but there are several others including another classic named "Judas Goats at a Sheep Sale", from 1955. Our sire is likely descended from "Nick", the dog with the white mask very similar to his.

We are located in the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area, and invite you and your family to come see us and enjoy all the benefits of a gorgeous travel destination with beautiful scenery, as well as lots of delicious local restaurants and eateries located in close by Hood River, OR!
